Looks like Day of the Dead has a new trailer out there and from the looks of it and reading others posts about it, it doewsnt seem to really impress people much. Check out what you think about it here:

With all of the reaw talent out there in the horror world, you would think that people and more specifically the big studios would pick up on the fact that everything has been done and its now time for more original ideas. But apparently they have’nt figured that out yet, and from the looks of it they never really will. With all of the money that is to be made re-hasing old ideas and taking good movies and making them bad, I dont think that the remake trend in horror will ever end.
So if you are like me and dont particularly like the remakes, (with the exception of “Dawn of the Dead”; I think a few of you can agree), consider this post a warning list. MALEFIQUE (REMAKE)
The story revolves around an eclectic group of four inmates sharing one prison cell, where they find a book of occult spells and attempt to use the magic to escape, but things don’t go as planned.

PET SEMATARY (REMAKE)
The original told the story of a family moving to a small Maine town with a pet cemetery and an Indian burial ground that’s said to resurrect anyone who’s buried in it.

SHE FREAK (REMAKE)
Centers around a woman named Lady Nocturna, who puts on these Passion Plays where she reenacts the deeds of infamous male villains (Jack the Ripper, Billy the Kid, Fu Manchu…), but at the last minute, turns the tables on these villains by “killing” them in gruesome ways, much to the delight of the audience.

Dont worry about it man the traile rto the Day Of The Dead remake looks like shit, yeah i will probably end up wathcing it but the orginal is a true classic, and by the looks of this one its going to blow. I hate when they use the same actors in one movie and then again in other films that has to do with the same genre. The big black guy in Dawn Of The Dead remake is also starring in this film, yeah he is a awesome actor dont get me wrong. But he better be his fucking twin brother who he was trying to get too i tell ya that.
