Desolation

Desolation, is a new horror film written and directed by Krist Rufty (the Cutting Room) and produced by Kevin Woods (Survival, Buy Sell Kill). Now in pre- production phase this one looks like a good splatter flick. Enough blood and gore to fill most horror freaks needs, but with a good cast and crew behind the scenes making sure it has some direction as well.

The trailer on their myspace page looks wonderful and it serves more purpose than just a sneek preview of the film. It serves as a PR tool to showcase the production teams talent and to help grab the attention of potential investors so they can finish. Call it a fundraiser of sorts, but this is a great idea for Indie filmmakers to get more of their work out there for investors and the fans.
