A Thousand Words: Bloodline

atw2 200A Thousand Words: Bloodline is the sequel to my directorial debut with A Thousand Words.

The first movie introduced audiences to a serial killer (Ian Black) who has a penchant for photographing his victims before, during, and after their grizzly deaths at the end of an ax. With the second film I was looking to go deeper and darker and enter the killer’s psyche giving people some back story on why he was how he was and adding some depth to the story. We find out he has a life outside of his homocidal activeties and that includes a son. We explore the character’s relationships as well as how much damage a good sharp ax can do.

The movie stars Louie Cowan, Jason Morris, Suzanne Camilli, Bryan Arnold, and features Todd Adam Marquis, Hannah Wegmann, Megan Downour, William J. Sabo, Kim Carey, Susan Martin, Rhonda Thomas, Sue Sabo, and Michael Brennen.

Ultimately I have plans for a trilogy but it deeply depends on how the story comes together in the feature version. Right now we are promoting all over and hitting a ton of film festivals, magazines, and other promotional outlets. The movie looks great and has a solid story behind it old school horror style with some seriously messed up things going on. One audience member said "…every moment is either ultra-violence or extreme emotional trauma." Love to hear those kinds of things.

Reviews can be found at Bum’s Corner, Fatally Yours, and The Chopping Block as well as audience comments on our site.
