Slash and Bash in Kansas

Its October and Halloween time again, even in Kansas….

flying-pumpkin1cFriday and Saturday will be the third annual “Slash and Bash”, a horror movie festival. Friday night premieres Heartland of Horrors, a collection of scary film shorts by Kansas filmmakers. Following will be The Howling, which will be introduced by one of its stars, Dee Wallace Stone. Ms. Stone will again hold a question-answer session about this film after its showing.

On Saturday morning at 10:30, there will be a free family movie, Monster House, and free donuts. Films will continue through the day, including Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, Lost Boys and Cujo.

Admission to Saturday’s films is $8.00, or you can buy a two-day pass Friday night for $10.00. Members of the military with their IDs will receive $1 off ticket prices
