This year brings the brightest and the best of independent horror from around the world. This years films not only showcase upcoming Florida horror filmmakers, but also featuring independent horror films from all over the US, Canada, England, Germany, and Indonesia. As part of the SCREAMFEST Horror Convention, the FREAK SHOW Horror Film Festival brings together up and coming horror filmmakers with thousands of horror fans from around the globe.
Filmmakers compete for the “Freaky” Award for outstanding achievement in the following categories: BEST FEATURE, BEST SHORT, BEST FLORIDA HORROR FILM, BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, BEST SPECIAL FX MAKE-UP, and AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD.
