Honestly, I have never read a “review” that was so minimalistic and mindless in my entire life. I am to assume that you are steering people away from the fllm, but what have you to back up your strong opinions? I was in the film. My name was Amy Henry at that time, but my last name is now Penney.I had actually read this blurb in the past, but now that I am looking at it again (by pure chance, not because I sought your stereotypical-I-hate-everything-that-I-wish-I-were-but-could-never-be-because-my-parents-did-not-buy-me-an-i pod-for-christmas-let-alone-encourage-me-for-my-self-inflicted-sense-of-entitlement-even-though-I-fail-miserably-at-everything-I-do-and-have-nothing-better-to-do-than-sit-and-play-critic-to-the-artist-I-am-not-going-to-be-no-matter-how-hard-I-try self).
YOU DID NOT EVEN WATCH THE MOVIE!
May I quote you?
“involved in research of this haunted house.”
Nope. Way off. Guess again.
Since I was there when we actually filmed it, I can tell you flat-out, “angry whatever-you-say-you-are”, you are WRONG.
To remind you of your pathetic “review” (and I will not even mention the high-school-drop-out style of writing), let me quote you once again:

“Do you believe in ghosts? How about if something was cursed would you believe that? If I handed you a rock and said later it was cursed how would you react? Would you laugh? Or would you throw the rock out in fear? It almost all boils down to either being superstitious or not. Return Of The Curse tells the story of a curse that is hitting all of the people that were involved in research of this haunted house.”

Poorly written. Weak language. Anyone with a bran will steer clear of anything you write.

I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO WATCH THIS FILM AND PROVIDE TO ME A LOGICAL EXPLANATION AS TO HOW THIS PERTAINS TO THE FILM.

If you handed me a rock, I would probably throw it at your alternative-school’s English teacher. Or, maybe,I would break it in twp pieces and hit the English teacher (with the smaller piece), and then walk up to your ignorant self and throw it at you.
But I won't. I was always told that picking on the "special" kids was wrong.

Obviously, you could not even get your GED?

Think about what you have written.
Get back to me, Angry-For-Failing-At-Everything.

I have more rocks than you do.
And I am much more intelligent

I thought the film was well-done. It's also being distributed world-wide. I'm from Grand Rapids where the film was shot and I'm going to the premier of Chris Penney's new film. I support indie film, and I think that there should not be a lot of criticism for indie filmmakers. I know I could not make one, myself. The trailer and clips for The Basement on youtube look awesome.

Dont take it so personal, im sure your other films will be better. It looks like this one is not TheAngryPrincess' cup of tea. That doesnt mean your others or your ability is crap.

Most of the movies that are reviewed here are done with zero budget, and with people that work full time. This one just wasnt a good one to her, its cool. Take it with stride and there is no need to call anyone a Jackass because they didnt like your film. Thats only going to make others not like your work in the future if you decide to continue to take it personal, or take personal jabs at others.

You will get a lot of that in the future, so take it well.

Ya? Well the movie was done on a budget of zero. And I work a ful time job.
Let's see your movie on a zero budget. Making a movie has a steep learning curve. Every one I do is better, so I'll get there and finally so bite me jack ass!
