E.G.G.- Jeremy Shipp

A little boy Lane sits on the end of his bed hugging his teddy bear waiting for his father to get home. He tells teddy not to be afraid. Lane seems to be emotionally distressed because the man he idolizes is a father that doesn’t take any interest in him what so ever. This poor little boy wants his fathers attention so bad that it almost hurts to watch. After another emotional drought from his father Lane decides he is going to run away so he silently climbs out his bedroom window. Is Lane’s grandfather a premonition or a threat?

When Lane is given the egg you see that it has all of these witchy looking symbols in black all over it. Is this a symbol of how that is all Lane is to his father, an egg?  Saying that I mean that his father obviously didn’t want him when he was born and he is disgusted that he exists- he doesn’t even treat him like a son.

Bizarro author Jeremy Shipp shares all of this with us in his new short E.G.G.!

  1. Giant mini-icecream cones with super blunt teeth and stupid purple wigs are invading my bedroom. They forgot the popcorn.

(You did dare me to say something.)
