Grave Mistakes Screening

“Grave Mistakes,” a horror film by Catonsville resident Jimmy George and Catonsville native Chris LaMartina will have a screening Saturday, May 2, at 9 p.m. at the Senator Theatre in Baltimore as part of the Fanex Film Festival.

The film, which features vampires, ghosts and zombies, had its premier Oct. 21 at Baltimore’s Charles Theatre for about 175 fans.

George and LaMartina earlier collaborated on another horror film, “Book of Lore.”

The movie to be shown this weekend ties four story lines with a fifth plot about a grave robber. It was shot in Baltimore, Baltimore County and Ellicott City.

The May 1-3 horror film festival will also include appearances by Count Gore DeVol (Friday and Sunday), Baltimore scream queen Leanna Chamish, actors George Stover and Nikita Breznikov and documentary producer Gus Russo at the theater on York Road.

“Grave Mistakes” will be one of seven films scheduled for Saturday.

Tickets are $5 a film or $15 a day.
