Zombie Disco

Horror Society has always been about and for the people of independent horror. Since its start back in 2006 in Bloomington, IL we have been adamant about spreading the word about Independent Filmmakers. Relocating to Chicago created an even bigger opportunity to share our love with even more horror fans. In 2008 Mitchell Wells started the Horror Society Film Festival as a way to bring independent horror directly to the people. Throwing film festivals was a way to introduce people to films they might not otherwise know about. Independent filmmakers working on obviously low budgets need all the help and exposure they can get. With the success of the first festival Mitchell decided is was worth doing again and again. The Horror Society Film Festival is set up on a regular schedule now with a new festival every three months each with a new theme. The themes help highlight the different kinds of independent horror films out such as B-Movie, Women of Horror, and Zombies just to name a few.

In celebration of the Horror Society’s 1 year anniversary in Chicago, we decided once again to give back to the horror community. On Saturday, June 20th join us at ViaDuct Theater for Horror Society’s Zombie Disco. A combination of 2 great loves. From 9pm to 2am get your groove on 70’s style and dance with the undead. DJ Joe Wallace will be spinning your favorite disco tunes along with classic horror tunes.  Come dressed as a zombie or get your makeup done there. The evening will also includes zombie films, contests, and games. Tickets are only $10
