Atlanta, GA, August 7, 2009- Spasm Entertainment has come out swinging, billing their first announced release, “Goregasm” as “The Most Extreme and Mean Spirited Horror Sex Comedy in America”.
Eric Campos of Film Threat is backing that claim, saying “’Goregasm’ is chock full of gore, nekkidity and bad behavior and may just have what it takes to turn even the most hardened horror aficionado into a babbling sissy.” Then Eric goes on to say of the director: “…Filmmaker Jason Matherne has some screws loose – and that works to our benefit.”
The film was produced by Matherne’s production company, Terror Optics Studios in post-hurricane New Orleans, Louisiana. Featuring punkers, FEMA trailers, ludicrous amounts of nudity, uncomfortably graphic sex scenes, vicious over-the-top violence, and cameos from NOLA metal icons Sammy Duet (Goatwhore/Acid Bath) and Jimmy Bower (Down/Superjoint Ritual); (As described by MovieCynics.com), “…Goregasm is the next logical step in horror, sexual and brutal, it delivers like few movies do.”
Though an official release date has not been announced, the film is scheduled to hit stores in late October.
