Frozen (2010)
Ok, so how interesting could a movie about 3 people that get stranded in a ski lift really be? Well if Adam Green writes and directs it it will in fact be very interesting. Once through the initial setup of the film we get into a very intelligent character driven piece that you will not want to miss one frame of. You are glued to the screen and you go through this intense emotional ride with them all the way to the end.
The cast is amazing for this film and along with the direction, writing, FX and score this movie was I dare to say perfect, I hesitate to say that but what do you call something when you can’t think of anything that could have been better for this particular film.
If you are expecting Green’s Hatchet style gore galore and dark humor this is not the movie for you. Instead Frozen delivers a very serious and grim tale that I look forward to seeing from Green again in the future.
