A new trailer was released today for the upcoming series After Dark Originals. After Dark Originals is the second series by After Dark Films, who many know for putting on the 8 Films to Die For Horrorfest each year. The only difference between the two series is that After Dark Films owns the Originals films, having produced and created them, instead of acquiring them from other companies as Horrorfest does. The two most successful films from After Dark Films are An American Haunting and Captivity.
After Dark Originals will be screening in 10 theatres starting January 28th for a limited time before being debuted on SyFy channel and followed by a DVD release. The DVD release has already been announced for March 28, 2011. The new trailer, which comes in at 2 minutes and 40 seconds, is a mash-up of scenes from all 8 of the Originals films – Husk, Re-Kill, The Prowl, Fertile Ground, The Task, Banshee, Seconds Apart, and 51. Personally, I’m the most excited to see Husk and Banshee.
