Horror at The Tribeca Film Festival

Tribeca Film Festival’s 10th edition takes place April 20 to May 1 this year and has never been scarier. We have five additional horror/thriller titles in our Main Slate to add to the eight exciting and eclectic films in CINEMANIA section, which push the boundaries of creativity and genre.

RABIES (Kalevet) is the first slasher film from Israel! Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado write/direct this ripple effect of fear and violence, which cleverly plays on the very genre itself. Other titles include Argentinean family-run whorehouses & violence in Paco Cabezas’ NEON FLESH, suspenseful French kidnapping and anti-terrorism in Fred Cavave’s POINT BLANK and Julien Leclerq’s THE ASSAULT, wintry Norwegian adventures in Andre Ovredal’s TROLLHUNTER and last but not least vividly imaginative kiddy-killer Santa Claus in Holland’s SAINT.
