It’s a wrap for ‘Pig Lady!’

I tried to think of some creative way to say Pig Lady has finished filming, but I couldn’t come up with anything. You would think that wouldn’t be too difficult with a title such as Pig Lady. Now I’m noticing the title of the article sounds like I’m threatening someone. “It’s a wrap, yo!” Oh well…

A couple of weeks ago I informed readers of a new short film being made in New Jersey called Pig Lady. The film is based on a real WEIRD NJ legend about a pig-humanoid creature that haunts a road in North Jersey. At the time, Thomas De Napoli and Steve Makowski were seeking funds through the popular Kickstarter website. The production has officially wrapped and will be put into post production soon with hopes of getting the film submitted to the Sundance Film Festival.

While we all wait for future viewings of Pig Lady, here are two pictures provided by Thomas & Steve from Pig Lady‘s Kickstarter page. The first is of the two directors with Pig Lady herself…or itself? The second is a behind the scenes photo of actor Morgan West who plays “Paul” and the film’s art director Esther Kim.

  1. Looks like your latest addition (Troy Gentile) is a huge bonus to this venture. An accomplished young actor with a ton of credits should be mentioned…..
