Exclusive: Sneak peek of upcoming web comic by Lia Scott Price

Our favorite little vampire, Lia Scott Price, is at it again! This time she is moving away from printed publications for a bit and side stepping into the world of comic books. You may recognize her from her trilogy novel “The Guardian, Revenant, and Dominion,” which features kind guardian angels turning into psychotic, killer vampires. This new take on vampires has been met with a lot of praise, thus the franchise is growing! The comics will start online, but then migrate to full-fledged hard copies. We have been provided with an exclusive, sneak peek of a page from Lia’s upcoming web comic series. The exclusive, sneak peek is featured to the left, but make sure you read the press release below as well.

“Horror Author Lia Scott Price Announces New Web Comic Series

February 13,  2012. Serial Killer and Vampire Guardian Angels. Yes, you heard that right.

To put it simply, they are once-protective Guardian Angels that became evil Vampires. And they aren’t your typical light-and crucifix-fearing Vampires. Created by Horror Author Lia Scott Price, they are vicious and psychotic characters that reside in a world of bloodshed and mayhem in her Vampire Trilogy Novel, “The Guardian, Revenant, and Dominion”.

In 2012, Price is starting her own web comic series based on this trilogy novel, and Artist Andrew Setter, a student working towards his degree in illustration, has been commissioned as the new series’ artist.

This will be Price’s first official comic book series, with her “Serial Killer and Vampire Guardian Angels” becoming full-fledged comic book characters in 24-page fully illustrated comic books. The series will first be released online, and hard copies will follow. Each story will follow the transformation of the characters from helpful Guardian Angel to evil Vampire. Price is already working on more sequels.

If you’ve heard of Price and her book, you know she loves to turn this particular trilogy novel into short and feature films versions, and has already published a 320-page illustrated graphic novel with comic book images by different artists  which was released in 2011.

Los Angeles Death Metal Band Enthraller (www.enthraller.net) will also be making a cameo in the comic book series.
