This is the first time anything like this has ever happened in Elgin. With the success of Nightmare on Chicago Street last year in downtown Elgin, we found out that there are a lot of Elginites, and other folks from around the area that are REALLY into horror!

By Car
From Chicago & northwest suburban area:
Take I-90 west towards Rockford, get off on Rt 31 south, drive to downtown Elgin and take a left onto Kimball (the first big road that goes across the river). Cross the river and get in the right lane. Turn right (south) on Douglas, then left immediately into the parking lot on your left behind Douglas Street Bar and Grill.
From western and southern suburbs:
Take Rt 20 (Elgin O-Hare) west to Rt 31 and head north to downtown Elgin. Take a right onto Kimball. Cross the river and turn right on Douglas, then left into the parking lot on your left behind Douglas Street Bar and Grill.
By Train / Metra
By Metra, you would get on the Milwaukee West line towards Big Timber. You should get off at the Elgin station, then walk across the river, past the first light and take a left at Douglas Ave. Walk 3 blocks until you see the Douglas Street Bar and Grill. The Monster Mash-Up is in the building behind it.

Pace provides 12 routes to downtown Elgin from within Elgin and from Dundee, Carpenterville, Spring Hill Mall, Streamwood, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg. You’ll have to use Google to map out your best route.
