Box office numbers, DVD sales, and television viewership for the week of June 8 to June 14, 2012.
I started tracking films I normally wouldn’t have included on the list just for the Hell of it. Being that Prometheus is becoming such a global hit, I included it along with Snow White & The Huntsman and The Avengers. Scifi/fantasy is definitely running the pack, but horror films are still on the charts.
2 Prometheus $68,658,000
3 1 Snow White & The Huntsman $33,318,000 (Total: $108,797,000)
4 2 Men In Black 3 $20,673,000 (Total: $142,687,000)
5 3 The Avengers $16,838,000 (Total: $577,888,000)
11 8 Dark Shadows $2,156,000 (Total: $74,532,000)
