Zombie Bohemia: The Series – first promo and kickstarter campaign.

Anyone who attended DC Independent Film Festival (where Zombie Bohemia won the Best Short Film award) or the Chicago Fear Fest (where it almost won the Best Short Film award) or anyone who is die-hard reader of Horror Society will get a kick out of this. As previously announced, the award-winning short film Zombie Bohemia is currently being made into an online series. And finally things are starting to really move forward!

As with most productions (and if a director/producer tells you “everything went smoothly” – they’re lying!) a few unexpected forks in the road have popped up. Being that indie projects usually have lower budgets, Zombie Bohemia and Two Man Island Productions are seeking additional funding through Kickstarter. [Click here] to donate to the campaign.

“Zombie Bohemia: The Series” will be much more in-depth than the short film and will follow, “Michael the Artist Zombie and his manager Anton Zora on the adventure of their lives through a world that most of us never knew existed. Meet the cast of characters who orbit around and sometimes collide with them.” The franchise as a whole is a great mix of mockumentary, horror, comedy, and art..obviously.

Donating to “Zombie Bohemia: The Series” will earn you some fun prizes including a Twitter/Facebook shout out, sneak peek of the episodes, your name listed in the credits of the first two episodes, autographed poster, zombie art/jewelry, Zombie Bohemia t-shirt, admission for you and a guest to the wrap party, go drinking with Michael the Zombie himself, certified and authenticated prop from the set, dinner with cast and crew members, custom video greeting from Michael the Zombie and Anton, actual art by Shawn James, name a character after you, spend the day with Michael the Zombie, speaking role in the series, gift bags, product/business placement, and a trip with the main cast and crew to Cancun or Vegas to shoot your own starring episode in the series.

I think the campaign is only for the first two episodes or so and the goal of $5,000 needs to be reached by August 14, 2012. The guys behind Two Man Island Productions are good friends of ours here at Horror Society, and I would appreciate all your help in making this happen. [Click here] to watch the first promo for “Zombie Bohemia: The Series.”
