Let the tornado sirens blare…
Speaking of sequels, here’s one that has been rumored for a while, but only recently have we seen footage and even a trailer for it. Here is the synopsis:
When her father disappears, Heather Mason is drawn into a strange and terrifying alternate reality that holds answers to the horrific nightmares that have plagued her since childhood.
As some of you may know, this (like the Resident Evil franshise) is very very very LOOSELY based on video games. While the Resident Evil franchise is now completely unrecognizable to video game enthusiasts, there is still hope for Silent Hill, even if the first one was a bit lacking. This franchise, along with the Paranormal Activity franchise, seem to be trying to fill the gap during Halloween that was once dominated by the Saw films. While I’m rooting for Silent Hill, either would be a better replacement than the Saw films.
One of the more exciting things about this film (aside that it might be closely based on the Silent Hill 3 video game) is the star-studded cast, including 2 actors from Game of Thrones. I know you all join me in hoping that Sean Bean doesn’t die like he is known for doing in every movie he’s in. For now, here’s a clip aired at Comic Con showcasing some sexy nurses and a familiar face when it comes to defending The Wall from White-Walkers (Kit Harington).
