Master of horror, Rob Zombie, is known for injecting horror in every project he is part of. It only makes sense that he would have an interest in making a movie about the brutal and savage hockey team known as the Broad Street Bullies.
Oh, wait. He doesn’t think he will make it into a horror movie? That’s right.
“It will be a period piece,” he said. “Philadelphia was a terrible place in those days. It was also the time of Watergate and the gas shortage and Patty Hearst. It was social upheaval at the time.”
He got the idea to not make it into a horror film after watching Money Ball.
So Rob Zombie wants to make a movie about a violent, bloody group of hockey players that won’t be a horror movie and was inspired by Money Ball? Now THAT is a scary thought…..
