Bio
I grew up in Linden, NJ mostly and I began my film career in High School acting in plays like, “The Diary of Anne Frank” and “Raisin in the Sun”. Being exposed to theatre gave me a different perspective on acting. To me it’s almost like night and day comparing theatre to film. I’ve always loved film over theatre (especially horror films), which is where I gravitated in my early college years. After several high school and college plays and numerous acting classes I began to take courses on filmmaking.
I’ve always wanted to be an actor, but since it’s so tough getting casted and it’s always a crap shoot when it comes to auditioning for movies, I figured I should learn the true craft of filmmaking, which is why I picked up a camera and began developing my behind the camera skills. After years of study and field experience at Kean University (where I’ve meet many talented people such as Michael Defellipo and Derek Rafanello), Darkstar Entertainment, TV36, Nocturnal Productions Troma Entertainment and my own production company Bradco Productions, I am a competent Cinematographer, Director, Writer, Lighting Designer, Set Designer, Editor and Music Composer.
You might say I’ve become a jack of all trades, but this was really for only one reason, and that reason is I’ve always wanted to be an actor, so I created my own films which means i’ve created my own roles. This spiraled off into all sorts of directions with other filmmakers who desire my talent behind the camera, but at the same time now by doing what I did casting myself in my own movies I have made myself noticed to a whole need crowd of filmmakers who want to have me act in their films. I must say the feeling is so great to be in front of the camera instead of behind because that’s always been my dream, and it looks like it’s coming true slowly but surely.
