IDS RISING Premiere at Oshkosh Horror Film Festival

IDS RISING, the prequel/sequel to the underground “Incest Death Squad” films, set to premiere at Oshkosh Horror Film Festival October 6th, now available for pre-order.

Madison, WI – Cory J. Udler, the writer/director of “Incest Death Squad”, “Incest Death Squad 2” and “Mediatrix” is gearing up to unleash the third, and final (?), chapter of the “Incest Death Squad” trilogy with “IDS RISING”, premiering Saturday, October 6th at 9:45pm at the Oshkosh Horror Film Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The movie is now available for pre-order at www.incestdeathsquad.com.

Udler says that he never had any intentions of making any more than one film in the series, but that the people who matter most convinced him. “When we finished part one, the cast and crew all said they wanted to do a part two, and I was not interested at all. It was a miracle I made the first one. After we had premiered the first one, after the edit was done, I knew that it just leant itself to another one. The experience on making part two was super hard on everyone, including me, as I was going through a lot personally and professionally at the time. So after that I was dead serious that you would never see another one. Well, I did a little tour of “Mediatrix” last fall and everywhere I went, the people who have supported my movies asked me when they were going to see “Incest Death Squad 3”. We screened the sequel in Madison around Halloween and Carmela (Wiese who plays Amber Wayne in the series), Tom (Lodewyck who plays Aaron Burg) and Greg (Johnson who plays Jeb Wayne) were all there and it just felt like the band was back together. So I wrote “IDS Rising” and we started shooting in February. Now it’s ready to be unleashed!”

Reuniting the entire cast and crew for a third movie, Udler says, was easy. Returning are Carmela Wiese as “Amber Lynn Wayne”, Greg Johnson as “Jeb Wayne”, Tom Lodewyck as “Aaron Burg” and Melissa Murphy as “Andrea Stein”. Also returning is Michael Katzenberger, who starred as “William Brackett” in Udler’s last film “Mediatrix” and made a brief appearance as “Daddy” in “Incest Death Squad 2”. New faces include Heather Renkin, who played “Faith Van Hook” in “Mediatrix”, Kristen Casey, Shannon Larson, Jennifer Frey and Wrestlecrap.com’s own Blade Braxton as “Satan”.

Udler promises more of what the fans of the series have come to expect from the films in addition to some twists to the “Incest Death Squad” world.

“I really took the backstory in a bizarre direction. At first, I thought maybe I was doing too much to these characters and their stories, but as I went along in the writing and then in the filming process I realized it would be impossible to go too far with them. I think the fans are going to be stoked with the movie. Tons of blood and a lot more horrifying things. This one is definitely going to make people feel like a shower, or at least a squirt of hand sanitizer, after they watch it”, Udler said.

The movie is now available for pre-order at www.incestdeathsquad.com, and it comes with the option of choosing one of two covers, one featuring Greg Johnson as Jeb Wayne and one with Carmela Wiese as Amber Wayne. If you can’t do without them both you can snatch up the pair for a discounted price on the website as well. The movie is officially available on October 5th at www.incestdeathsquad.com, and will premiere the next day at John Pata’s Oshkosh Horror Film Festival at 9:45pm. The film will then return to Madison on November 3rd and 4th for Rich Peterson’s Madison Horror Film Festival, this year featuring a “Curd Off”, a cheese curd eating contest between director Cory J. Udler and horror luminary Tiffany Shepis, all proceeds going to charity.
