Jonathan Tiersten to appear at The Mile High Horror Festival

Jonathan Tiersten is coming home!

From Mile High Horror: We are thrilled to celebrate his recent award for Best Actor In a Feature Film (for his role as John Doesy in The Perfect House) at The Underdog Film Festival and his nomination for the same at The Scarlet Waters Film Festival (in Austin Texas).

Jonathan has another film “Redemption” that looks to be debuting at The 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. It also stars George Loros (The Sopranos) and Meredith Ostrom (Love Actually).

Finally he is working with esteemed producer Brian Witten (The Chernobyl Diaries) to both produce and act in an upcoming feature and is in talks with Legendary producer/ actor/writer Eli Roth to do multiple projects next year.

The festival takes place October 5-7 and includes such guests as Kane Hodder, Bill Moseley, Eileen Dietz and Corey Feldman.

Jonathan Tiersten is an American actor and singer, who is mostly known for his role as Ricky in the 1983 cult classic Sleepaway Camp. He returned to the role in the 2008 sequel, Return to Sleepaway Camp. Tiersten is currently the lead singer of his own band, Ten Tiers and he recently wrote the score to a short starring David Krumholtz (from TV’s Numb3rs now Parners). Tiersten is also starring in two upcoming features “The Perfect House” (Gratwick Films) in which Jonathan plays a serial killer named John Doesy and “Redemption” which co-stars George Loros (Buffalo Ray Curto from The Sopranos) and Meredith Ostrom ( Love Actually). Tiersten also composed the theme song for “The Perfect House” and will be contributing to the soundtrack of “Redemption”. Tiersten recently released his most critically acclaimed album to date, “We’ll See” (Edward Records). It recently finished third in Magnet Magazine’s most anticipated albums list. Shakefire.com called the album “Surprising” and “Simply Amazing” and rated the album “4 out of 4 stars an A.”
