Mary Horror takes over Chiller Theatre, also screening Halloween Night in New Jersey.

Based on all my coverage of Sheriff Tom vs. The Zombies, you already know that film is going to be the best movie ever made. But, did you know that it is actually a sequel to another NJ horror film called Mary Horror? It’s true, and now you will get a chance to see how all the magic and terror began!

In Mary Horror, viewers watch “Mary Horowitz who a normal high school senior who has just moved from Salem Massachusetts to a small corrupt town in New Jersey. Mary’s life has not been going the way she planned.  A distraught Mary comes home to witness her family being brutally murdered. Being the only one to survive, she is put in a psychiatric prison to be “protected”. As two years pass by, Mary realizes what really happened that night wasn’t what she thought. As the plot unravels, so does Mary. Her time in the ward has changed her into something evil, a member of the walking dead. She realizes the truth and takes revenge on the town and on everyone that wronged her. Follow the life of Mary Horowitz, as she becomes Mary Horror!” The film is written and directed by Ryan Scott Weber and stars Joe Parascand, Susie Duecker, Tazio Ruffilo, Katie Farley, and Shawn C. Phillips. It features cameos by Patricia Quinn, MJ Kelly, Deanna Russo, Lloyd Kaufman,  and Ernie Hudson.

Mary Horror will screen on October 26 and 27, 2012 at Chiller Theatre, one of the biggest horror conventions on the East Coast. The location for Chiller Theatre is 199 Smith Road, Parsippany, NJ at the Sheraton Hotel. The screenings will take place at midnight on both nights. The Mary Horror team will have a table at the famed convention before the screenings and will be available for a Q&A after the showings. For more information on Chiller Theatre, please click here. Then on October 31, 2012 – Halloween Night – Mary Horror will play at The Clearview Theater in Bernardsville, New Jersey. It is located on 5 Mine Brook Road, and the screening will begin at 9:00PM. The special event will also include distributing of free posters, meet and greet with the cast and crew, a Q&A after the showing, and t-shirts and DVDs of Mary Horror will be on sale. Both events will have the teaser trailer for Sheriff Tom vs. The Zombies. Sheriff Tom vs. The Zombies is expected to be released sometime in 2013.

I’ll be at the Saturday showing of Mary Horror at Chiller Theatre and maybe at the Halloween screening in Bernardsville. Hope to see you all there!
