Upcoming flick Night of The Dolls

nightofthedollsNews coming out of Indiana states: “The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has located the Van belonging to the five people that have been missing since last weekend. The five individuals, four female members of the punk rock group The Lolita Dolls and one Male friend have not been seen since the Band’s performance at HorrorFest this last Saturday night. According to Franklin County Sheriff John Mitchell it appears that the group had illegally entered the Brookhurst Sanitarium to film a music video. When Sheriff Deputies searched the condemned building all that was found was musical equipment, sleeping bags and a Camcorder. Authorities are reviewing the tape on the camcorder and are hoping they will find anything that will lead to the location of the missing individuals. If you have any information, please contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.”

The synopsis of Night of The Dolls reminds me of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But this begs the question, will Night of The Dolls be a narrative film or more “found footage?” Whatever way this feature length title goes, my interest has definitely been captured. I’m intrigued to see what director Daniel Murphy and writer Tom Komisar have in store for horror fans. Plus, bloody guitars in a sanitarium? Who could ask for me?

One thing I do know for sure is that Night of The Dolls has a fantastic group of actors participating in this film. Cast members include Cassandra Baun (She Devils A Go Go), Ellie Church (And Then You Die), Angela Denton (Found), Cassie Guthrie, and Eric Reaume (What They Say). And even better news, it appears that Night of The Dolls will be out on DVD soon, according to Facebook that is. Follow it by [clicking here].
