A little bit of old news, but I just stumbled upon it. I figured some folks around here would enjoy it, especially V/H/S fans.
Radio Silence, the Youtube production team turned bonafide directors, is currently signed on to direct two low budget horror flicks in 2013. The team – which consists of Tyler Gillet, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Chad Villella and Justin Martinez – will be working for both 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate Films. Not bad for Youtube stars who earned their fame by working on 2012’s hit anthology, V/H/S.
Details for the film intended for Lionsgate are very sparse, with the only bit of news being that it will be titled Reawakenings. On the other hand, the film for 20th Century Fox will be a “found footage” styled film based around a female character. It is being written by Lindsay Devlin and produced by John Davis under Davis Entertainment.
I can’t wait to see what Radio Silence has in store for us horror fans!
