The first film Co-Directed by the Brothers Freeman (Cell Count and The Weather Outside) has some new artwork from artist Tom Hodge at The Dude Designs.

“Wake Before I Die” is the story of “Pastor Dan Bennet who moves his family to a small Northwest town and begins to suspect that all might not be as idyllic as he first imagined. Strange spiritual obsessions begin to unearth age-old secrets, and personal threats await anyone who dares confront them. He realizes he must not only prepare his new congregation to face the assault, but also fortify his own home as evil seeks to invade and shake it to its very foundation.”

“This was the first film that we shot in 2010.  Jason and I adapted the screenplay from our dad’s book “My Soul To Take.”  Later that year we shot “The Weather Outside, written and directed by Jason, and Cell Count, written and directed by myself.  A lot of our inspiration for WBID was from Val Lewton as well as the films of Roman Polanski.  After working with Tom Hodge on the “Cell Count” and “The Weather Outside” poster we knew he was the man for the job.  His style as well as knowledge of genre marketing throughout the ages are without question the best in the business.” says Co-Writer and Co-Director Todd E. Freeman.

The film stars Robert McKeehen (“Leverage” and “Cell Count”), Michael Prosser (“Grimm”), Victor Morris (“Restless” and “Gone”), and Robert Blanche (“Something Wicked” and “Zombie Apocalypse”).

The film is currently out to distributors for consideration in markets all over the world.
