We’ve been reading for quite a while now about Eli Roth’s new original series that he’s prepping for Netflix, now we’re actually able to put some faces to the details, as the first trailer for Hemlock Grove debuts.

The series pilot was directed by Eli Roth, and stars Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgard, Landon Liboiron, Lili Taylor, Kandyse McClure, Freya Tingley, Dougray Scott, Aaron Douglas, Tiio Horn, and Penelope Mitchell.

Hemlock Grove features 13 one-hour episodes and revolves around the murder of a young high school girl in Hemlock Grove, a former steel community, and centers on the bizarre collection of characters connected to it — who each have varying reasons for getting caught up in it.

According to The Hollywood Reporter“There’s no shortage of monsters on the show and they tend to fall on different varieties —  like what separates a human from a monster, the short answer to how supernatural the show is, is very.”

Written by Brian McGreevey and Lee Shipman based on McGreevy’s Gothic horror novel about  a werewolf who struggles both as a monster and as a human.

Watch the trailer, below. All 13 episodes of Hemlock Grove will be available for streaming on April 19.
