‘The Dark Cinema’ Anthology TV-show Hosted by Bill Oberst Jr. Releases First Trailer

The Dark Cinema imageThe first official trailer for a new anthology Television show, The Dark Cinema was released today and we have it for you right here.   The half hour show is hosted by Emmy award winning actor Bill Oberst Jr., and will feature independent shorts from around the globe in easily-digestible 30 minute segments.

The Dark Cinema will consist of horror/thriller/sci-fi episodes with a twist, reminiscent of The Twilight Zone.  They are currently in post-production from a October 31st shoot.

All of the shorts from the pilot episode are based on the theme of evil toys and possessed objects, says producer Cheryl Compton.   The shorts in the pilot are truly worldwide, coming from the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal and the United States.   The producers hope to have the pilot episode ready to go early this year.  No word yet as to where the show will air, but keep it here and as soon as we find out how to see The Dark Cinema, we’ll let you know.
