2007 – Janet Blair who starred in the film “Burn, Witch Burn,” passed away at the age of 85.

2006 – James Hardiman, who penned the novel “The House Where Evil Dwells,” on which the movie of the same name was based, passed away at the age of 86

1956 – Tod Slaughter, who portrayed “Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” in the 30’s and 40’s, passed away at the age of 70.

1905 – Michael Powell, directed the groundbreaking film “Peeping Tom”.
