“Enclosure” Directed by Patrick Rea (Fundraising)

Award-winning Filmmaker Patrick Rea needs your help to make his next feature film “Enclosure.”  The screenplay was written by Rea and Michelle Davidson, co-host of the Kansas City morning show KC Live and CinemaKC.  These two have teamed up in the past on several award-winning short films. Dynamic visuals will be created by Director of Photography Hanuman Brown-Eagle.  Julian Bickford will create a suspenseful score.  We have a dedicated team of producers that will help bring the project to fruition, which include Ryan S. Jones, Aaron Laue, Amber Rapp, Michelle Davidson, Patrick Rea and Jon Niccum.

Patrick Rea is a independent filmmaker, recognized for his innovative storytelling and creative directing style in horror and suspense.  His latest feature film “Nailbiter” won Best Director and/or Best Feature Film awards in several film festivals in 2012, including Shriekfest, Chicago Fear Fest and AMC Theaters KC Film Fest.  “Nailbiter” will be distributed through Lionsgate Home Video/Grindstone in 2013.

Rea is a Heartland Emmy award winning writer/director known for his stylized short films, which have screened in over a hundred film festivals around the world.  Rea’s most recent shorts “Get Off My Porch”, “Hell Week”, “Time’s Up, Eve”, “Next Caller”, “Now That You’re Dead”, “Do Not Disturb” and “Wrong Number” have also garnered acclaim and are currently on the festival circuit.  In the summer of 2008, Rea’s short film, “Woman’s Intuition” won a Heartland Emmy Award. In 2009, Rea was co-director on the “Jake Johanssen, I Love You” comedy special, which aired on SHOWTIME throughout 2010. SenoReality Pictures won its second Heartland Emmy Award with their short “Get Off My Porch”.  Rea just wrapped a new short film titled “RHINO” starring Malcolm Goodwin (A&E’s Breakout Kings) and Keith Loneker (Lakeview Terrace).
