2010 – Charles B. Pierce, who directed “The Legend of Boggy Creek” and “The Town That Dreaded Sundown,” passed away at the age of 71.

2007 – Denny Harris, the writer/director of the film “Silent Scream,” passed away at the age of 76.

2004 – Walt Gorney, who played “Crazy Ralph” in “Friday the 13th” and “Friday the 13th Part 2.” He was the narrator for the opening of “Friday the 13th: Part VIII,” and also co-starred in the films “Day of the Animals” and the 1976 version of “King Kong.”

1999 – Richard Kiley, who appeared in the pilot for the TV series “Night Gallery” (segment entitled “Escape Route”), passed away at the age of 76.

1998 – Donald Woods, who appeared in the films “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms,” “Dimension 5” and the original “13 Ghosts,” passed away at the age of 91.

1996 – Whit Bissell, who starred in the films, “I Was a Teenage Werewolf,” “I Was a Teenage Frankenstein” and “Monster on Campus,” passed away at the age of 86.
