2006 – Barney McFadden, who co-starred in the 1979 version of “Salem’s Lot” and “Crazed,” passed away at the age of 59.

1997 – Terry Nation, who wrote for the TV series’ “Dr. Who” (he created the “Daleks”), “Blake’s Seven” and the screenplays for the films “The House in Nightmare Park,” “Dr. Who: Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.” and “And Soon Darkness,” passed away at the age of 66.
