VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – March 10, 2013 – Independent film will soon see the most unusual and controversial genre project to hit the market in decades. Vancouver-area independent film company FORESIGHT ENTERTAINMENT is scheduled to complete production in March on its first feature film, NOCTURNE SIX.
Already generating significant industry buzz for its unique premise and affective execution, NOCTURNE SIX is a tense and frightening horror film that chronicles leaked footage from a highly-classified U.S. government program that recruits citizens with extrasensory abilities. Forced into the program by unscrupulous means, these gifted, yet apprehensive citizens are sent to parallel planes of Earth in order to thwart imminent attacks by dangerous supernatural entities.
All phases of production on the film occurred in the Vancouver area. NOCTURNE SIX will mark the feature directorial debut for Canadian auteur Charlton Jacob Jacques. The screenplay was written by American scribe and filmmaker Bill Freas. The fifth overall collaboration for the duo, NOCTURNE SIX was produced by Jacques and Freas under the FORESIGHT ENTERTAINMENT label. Distribution information will be announced in the near future.
