TV – ‘Zombieland’ TV Series Gives Us a First Look at the Zombies

Zombieland logoWe’ve been posting a bit about the new Zombieland TV series coming from Amazon Studios and until now we’ve had nothing solid to go on to give us an idea about how the show might fare.  Personally, I’ve been a little skeptical about how cool this show might be.  I enjoyed the feature film for the most part and am hoping the creative team will be able to take what made the film work and apply that to the series.  Now that the show is in production some images have hit the net and we have a first look  from the show and judging by what I see, I’m taking a step towards being a little less skeptical about it, check out the pics courtesy of Screen Crush down below.

The project, produced by Sony TV, is a continuation of the adventures of Tallahassee ( Kirk Ward), Columbus (Tyler Ross), Wichita (Maiara Walsh), and her younger sister Little Rock (Izabela Vidovic) — four humans who band together to survive the zombie apocalypse. In the movie Tallahassee, a square-jawed former lowly sandwich vendor-turned-the world’s most gifted zombie slayer, was played by Woody Harrelson. Original Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the pilot and executive produce with the movie’s producer, Gavin Polone.
