1980 – Mercedes McNab, appeared as “Harmony” in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel” TV series as well as “The Addams Family”, “The Addams Family Values”, “Hatchet”, and “Hatchet 2”.
1970 – Meredith Salenger, appeared in “Village of the Damned”, “Lake Placid” and “Werewolf in a Women’s Prison”.
1968 – James Frain, who starred in the TV series’ “The Cape,” “Invasion,” “True Blood” and the film “Tron Legacy.”
1968 – Megan Follows, appeared as Jane Coslaw in “Silver Bullet”.
1965 – Writer/director/producer Kevin Williamson whose work includes the “Scream” films, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and the TV series “The Vampire Diaries.”
1951 – Season Hubley, best known for her recurring role of “Salina” on the TV show “Family.” She appeared in the films “Escape From New York,” “Stepfather III” and “Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror.”
1941 – Wolfgang Peterson, who directed the films “Enemy Mine,” “Outbreak” and “The NeverEnding Story.”
1933 – Michael Caine, who starred in the films “The Swarm,” “Dressed To Kill” and “The Hand.” He is the current “Alfred Pennyworth” or as the character has been called through the decades, “Alfred the Butler.”He had a bit part in the 1961 film “The Day the Earth Caught Fire.”
1922 – Composer Les Baxter, who scored such films as “The Black Sleep,” “Macabre” and the US versions of “Black Sunday” and “Black Sabbath.”
1918 – Dennis Patrick who played “Jason McGuire” on the daytime horror soap opera “Dark Shadows.” He also appeared in the films “House of Dark Shadows” and “The Time Travelers.”
1914 – Walt Gorney who portrayed “Crazy Ralph” in “Friday the 13th” and “Friday the 13th Part 2.” He also appeared in the 1976 version of “King Kong,” “Day of the Animals” and was the narrator for the opening of “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.”
1902 – Master monster mask maker Don Post. Aside from his wonderful masks which we all remember from the ads in the back of Famous Monsters magazine, he also did special effects make-up for the films “Space Probe Taurus” and the 1956 version of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”
