2006 – Richard Fleischer, who directed the films “Soylent Green,” “The Boston Strangler” and “Fantastic Voyage,” passed away at the age of 89.

1989 – Reginald Le Borg, who directed the films “The Black Sleep,” “The Mummy’s Ghost” and “Voodoo Island,” passed away at the age of 86.
