2007 – Thomas Moore, who produced the films “The Town That Dreaded Sundown” and “Mark of the Witch,” passed away at the age of 88.

2003 – Anne Gwynne, who appeared in the Universal classics “Black Friday,” the 1941 version of “The Black Cat” (a.k.a. “The Black Cat Murders”) and “House of Frankenstein,” passed away at the age of 84.

1951 – Ralph Forbes who appeared in the 1939 versions of “The Tower of London,” and “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” passed away at the age of 54

1952 – Roland West who starred in the silent films “The Monster” (with Lon Chaney Sr.), “The Bat,” and it’s talking remake “The Bat Whispers,” passed away at the age of 67.

1993 – Brandon Lee, who at the age of 28, was tragically shot and killed on the set of the film “The Crow.”
