Brett Piper’s ‘Queen Crab’ Offers Some Stop-Motion Coolness!

Queen Crab image 4If you’re a fan of the films of stop-motion pioneer Ray Harryhausen and those examples of classic cinema…this one  isn’t it.   Seriously though, Brett Piper is in  post-production on his latest genre effort, Queen Crab, and we have all the details for you on this stop-motion tour de force creature feature.    I don’t know about you guys, but I’m tired of all this crappy looking CGI SyFy type of film and will take traditional stop-motion animation anytime over that other junk.  If you’re a fan of oldschool stop-motion techniques, handmade special effects and gruesome latex monsters, you surely don’t wanna miss any of Brett’s movies–they take you back to the magical times of old, long before CGI & Co invaded the silverscreen.  We’ve got some stop-motion footage for you as well as some stills from the film.

Queen Crab is directed by Brett Piper (The Dark Sleep, Muckman) and stars Michelle Simone Miller, Kathryn Metz, A.J. DeLucia, Rich Lounello, Danielle Donahue, and Steve Diasparra.

We were not able to dig up any official plot synopsis on the film, hopefully that will be forthcoming.

For more information on Brett Piper and the film, hit up his official Facebook Page and his official website.
