2002 – Henry Slesar, who wrote episodes for several TV series, including “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” “The Twilight Zone” and the screenplays for the films “Two on a Guillotine” and “Murders In The Rue Morgue” (1971), passed away at the age of 74.

2002 – Jack Kruschen, who appeared in the films “Abbott & Costello Go To Mars,” “War of the Worlds” and “Satan’s Cheerleaders,” passed away at the age of 80.

1999 – David Oren Ward, who appeared in the films “Witchouse” and “The Killer Eye,” passed away at the age of 27.

1997 – Tomoyuki Tanaka, producer of numerous Godzilla films, passed away at the age of 86.

1937 – Edward Laemmle, nephew of Universal founder, Carl Laemmle passed away at the age of 49. He directed many films for Universal studios.
