2008 – The battler of “Apes,” the “Omega Man,” the keeper of the truth about “Soylent Green,” the great Charlton Heston, passed away on this date at the age of 84.

2007 – Fuyuki Murakami, who appeared in the films “Monster Zero,” “Rodan,” “The Human Vapor” and “Varan The Unbelievable,” passed away at the age of 95.

2005 – Debralee Scott, who appeared in the film “The Reincarnation Of Peter Proud” and the the TV movie “Deathmoon.” She passed away 3 days after her 52nd birthday.

2001 – Brother Theodore who appeared in “The ‘burbs,” “Nocturna,” and “Horror of the Blood Monsters,” passed away at the age of 94.

1972 – Brian Donlevy who starred in the films “Gamera,” “Curse of the Fly,” and portrayed “Professor Quatermass” in the first two film versions of the “Quatermass” series, passed away at the age of 71.
