1978 – Issac Meisenheimer who appeared in and was assistant director of the 2008 remake of “Day of the Dead.”

1946 – Stan Winston, the makeup effects wizard responsible for such effects as “The Terminator”, “Aliens”, “Predator”, “The Monster Squad”, “Terminator 2”, “Lake Placid”, and one of his crowning achievement, the dinosaurs in “Jurassic Park”.

1939 – Francis Ford Coppla, who directed the films “Bram Stoker’s Dracula,” “Dementia 13,” and “The Terror.”

1934 – Ian Richardson who appeared in “From Hell,” “Dark City,” and played “Sherlock Holmes” in the TV version of “Hound of the Baskervilles.”

1933 – Wayne Rogers a.k.a. “Trapper John McIntyre.” He appeared in the film “Chamber of Horrors,” and he co-wrote the screenplay for and was executive producer of Ted V. Mikel’s masterpiece, “The Astro Zombies.”

1917 – R. G. Armstrong, who played “Uncle Lewis” in the “Friday the 13th” TV series, as well as appearing in films such as “The Car,” “Devil Dog; The Hound Of Hell,” and “Predator.”

1915 – Character actor Stanley Adams, who appeared in the TV movies “The Night Stalker” and “The Norliss Tapes.” He also appeared in “The Devil’s Platform” episode of “Kolchak: The Night Stalker” TV series.
