SATURDAY, APRIL 20TH – 7:30PM and 10:00PM WILLIAM LUSTIG IN ATTENDANCE FOR BOTH SCREENINGS! ONE NIGHT ONLY!
This got sent to me @sotwfx and I am so pissed I can’t attend:
Born in the Bronx in early 1955, William Lusitg soaked up the scenery for 22 years, reveling in the heyday of 42nd St before making his first features in 1977 – HOT HONEY / THE VIOLATION OF CLAUDIA – under the pseudonym “Billy Bagg.” Over the next few years he followed them up with the seminal slasher MANIAC with Joe Spinell, Caroline Munro, and Tom Savini(‘s exploding head) and the seething, grimy revenge epic VIGILANTE with Robert Forrester and Fred “The Hammer” Williamson.
After a brief hiatus, Lustig came out swinging with a one-two punch of MANIAC COP in 1988 featuring the likes of Tom Atkins, Bruce Campbell, Richard Roundtree, and Robert Z’dar and 1989’s RELENTLESS with Judd Nelson, Meg Foster, Robert Loggia, and more.
Join Spectacle and Mr. Lustig in the flesh for a night of cops from both coasts, a stable of character actors, behind the scenes stories, and plenty of stage blood.
