2007 – The creator of “The Monster Mash,” Bobby “Boris” Pickett, passed away at the age of 69 . He also appeared in the films “Deathmaster,” “Lobster Man from Mars” and “Monster Mash: The Movie.”

1980 – Famed Italian director, Mario Bava, passed away at the age of 65. His films included “Black Sunday,” “Black Sabbath,” and “Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs.”

1972 – George Sanders who appeared in the original “Village of the Damned,” “The Lodger” and as “Mr. Freeze” in the “Batman” TV series, passed away at the age of 65.
