Chill’s Roger Conners returns with What We Saw.

connerswhatwesaw“The Scream Queer” returns!

Roger Conners is in the final stages of writing a new screenplay titled What We Saw. After the script is completed, he is hoping to produce the horror-thriller. This is not the first time Conners has taken a seat on the producer’s chair. Although he’s appeared in many indie horror films including Hellementary: An Education In Death, Hellweek, and Voodoo Rising, Roger has given his other talents to the recently released mystery-slasher Chill. Not only did he star in the feature, but he was also an assistant director, co-producer, and other behind-the-scenes jobs.

Mr. Conners announced yesterday that he would be teaming up with old friends and collaboratings to help bring What We Saw to life. He will be joined by Fright Teck Pictures honcho Eddie Lengyel and Chill director Noelle Bye.

What We Saw follows, “Five childhood friends who make an oath to spend one last summer together before they each go their separate ways and leave their small-town lives behind them. In an attempt to make the remaining few weeks as unique and memorable as possible, they decide to venture to an array of famous “haunted” locations for which their town is notorious and capture their experiences there on tape. Their plans take a dark turn when they accidentally interfere with a Satanic cults violent ritual.”

As of right now, no casting choices have been announced, but several character breakdowns have been included. By watching What We Saw in the future, you’ll get to meet Tessa – the girl next door your mother wants you to marry; Jordan – the buff and gruff man who is full of regret; CJ – the friend token gay guy; Annie – the tough chick with a heart of gold; and Nash – a modern day hippie.

According to Facebook, the hope is to have What We Saw released by 2015.
