2005 – Charles A. Pratt, executive producer for the films “Willard,” it’s sequel “Ben” and “Terror In The Wax Museum,” passed away at the age of 82.

2002 – Robert Joseph, who wrote for the TV series “The Veil” and the screenplay for the film “Door To Door Maniac,” passed away at the age of 79.

2001 – Jack Murdoch who appeared in the films “Altered States” and “Psycho III,” passed away at the age of 78.

1999 – Musician Al Hirt who performed the theme to the “Green Hornet” TV show, passed away at the age of 76.

1996 – Adam Roarke, who appeared in the films “Frogs,” “Women of the Prehistoric Planet” and the original TV pilot for the “Star Trek” TV series, “The Cage,” passed away at the age of 58.

1980 – The King of Italian horror directors, Mario Bava, passed away at the age of 65. Some of his many films (on which he was also cinematographer & writer) include “Black Sunday,” “Black Sabbath,” “Caltiki, The Immortal Monster” and “Blood and Black Lace.”

1977 – Character actor Stanley Adams, who appeared in the TV movies “The Night Stalker” and “The Norliss Tapes,” passed away at the age of 62 He also appeared in “The Devil’s Platform” episode of “Kolchak: The Night Stalker” TV series and as “Cyrano Jones” in the “Star Trek” episode, “The Trouble With Tribbles.”
