2006 – Besty Jones-Moreland, who appeared in the films “Saga Of The Viking Women and Their Voyage To The Waters Of The Great Sea Serpent”, “Creature From The Haunted Sea” and the “Lizard’s Leg and Owlet’s Wing” episode of the TV series “Route 66” (with Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney and Peter Lorre), passed away at the age of 76.

2002 – Earl Hammond, whose voice talents graced many animated and children’s series such as “Ultraman,” “Thundercats,” “The Space Giants” and “Star Blazers,” passed away at the age of 80.

2000 – The original screen “Hercules,” Steve Reeves, passed away at the age of 74.

1965 – Comedian Spike Jones, who released several comedic albums, some with monster themes, passed away at the age of 53.

1954 – Tom Tyler passed away at the age of 50. Though most well known for his western roles, he took over the role of the Mummy from Boris Karloff  when he portrayed “Kharis” in “The Mummy’s Hand.”
