The Wizard World comic con returns to Philadelphia this May! One of the East Coast’s biggest comic conventions will take place May 30 to June 2, 2013.  The location is the PENNSYLVANIA CONVENTION CENTER on 1101 Arch St.
in Philadelphia, PA 19107. One day tickets range from $35 to $45 with a four day pass being $85. Aside from the dozens of comic book creators and artists appearing at the event, here is a list of noteworthy celebrity appearances.

Lets start with the superheros who will appear, because this is a comic convention after all – Shawn Ashmore (X-Men franchise), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Dean Cain (“The New Adventures of Superman”), and Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk). Also, Stan Lee – probably the most notable comic book legend of our time – will be appearing.

Science fiction characters who will be appearing have been broken up into categories. “The Walking Dead” – Norman Reedus (Daryl), Michael Rooker (Merl), Jon Bernthal (Shane), and Nick Gomez (Tomas). “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” – James Marsters (Spike), Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia), and Juliet Landau (Drusilla). “Charmed” – Holly Marie Combs (Piper), Brian Krause (Leo), and Shannon Doherty (Prue). Rounding out the mini reunions is the Serenity/Firefly group consisting of Gina Torres, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, and Jewel Staite.

Other appearences include Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode 1), William Shatner (“Star Trek”), Jason David Frank (“Power Rangers”), WWE Superstars John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and Ricky Steamboat, Emmy Award veterans Henry Winkler, Lauren Holly, and Steve Guttenber, and horror icons Tom Savini and Linda Blair.
