Frankenstein's Army image 2

One of the many Frankenstein themed films in production, Frankenstein’s Army has released a new red band trailer that really shows the perils of war with some very cool looking mad scientist creature creations.  I’ve been eagerly anticipating this film for quite a while now and can’t wait until its July 26th release date.  You can check out the red band trailer in all it’s gory goodness down below!

Frankenstein’s Army is directed by Richard Raaphorst and stars Karel Roden, Joshua Sasse, Robert Gwilym, Alexander Mercury, Luke Newberry, Hon Ping Tang, and Cristina Catalina.

Filmed in Prague, Frankenstein’s Army marks the feature debut of Dutch director Richard Raaphorst and has already received high critical acclaim.

Dark Sky Films announced that it will open writer-director Richard Raaphorst’s Frankenstein’s Army in select cities July 26th. The highly anticipated film, which recently screened to acclaim at the Tribeca Film Festival, is a co-production of MPI/Dark Sky Films, Los Angeles-based XYZ Films, and Pellicola of Amsterdam.

Plot Synopsis

Frankenstein’s Army takes place toward the end of World War II as Russian soldiers push into eastern Germany and stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Viktor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of super-soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.
