2008 – George Carlin, passed away at the age of 71. He appeared in the film “Scary Movie 3” as “The Architect.”

1988 – Bramwell Fletcher, the chap who lost his mind when he first saw “The Mummy” in 1932, and who also appeared in “The Undying Monster” and “Svengali,” passed away at the age of 84.

1987 – Fred Astaire who starred in “Ghost Story,” passed away at the age of 88.

1983 – David MacDonald who directed the films “Devil Girl From Mars,” the 1968 TV movie “Jack the Ripper” and for “The Veil” TV series, passed away at the age of 79.
